Sunday Baked Chicken

Ingredients:

6 Chicken Leg Quarters

3 Tablespoons “VJ’s All Purpose Seasoning”

2 Tablespoons “Backyard Que-N Garlic Pepper”

2 Cups Chicken Broth

3 Tablespoon Olive Oil

¼ teaspoon  Worcestershire Sauce

¼ teaspoon Soy Sauce

 

Directions:

  1. To Clean chicken thoroughly rinse chicken and cut off excess fat. Then drain excess water.

  2. To make brine add Chicken Broth, Worcestershire sauce, Soy Sauce, 2 Tablespoons VJ’s All Purpose Seasoning, and 1 Tablespoon Backyard Que-N Garlic Pepper to a large mixing bowl. Stir evenly mix ingredients. Add chicken to bowl and mix to evenly cover chicken in brine. Cover bowl and place in refrigeration for 2 hours.

  3. Preheat oven to 320 Degrees Fahrenheit. 

  4. Remove chicken from fridge and drain brine from chicken.  Then add 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil coating chicken evenly.

  5. Sprinkle on the remaining 1 Tablespoon All Purpose Seasoning, and 1 Tablespoon Garlic pepper to chicken (seasoning to taste).

  6. Grease baking pan with  remaining Olive Oil and add chicken to baking pan. 

  7. Bake at 320 degrees for about 2 hours (or until internal temperature reaches recommended 165oF)

  8. Then Broil Chicken at (medium BROIL) for about 20 minutes or until chicken is crispy.
